We welcome students transferring from another high school, public or private, and we will accept credits on their transcripts.
We will accept parent's transcripts for students who have been independently homeschooled, if parent can fully document courses and grades as well as provide a transcript.
Students must be in good standing with their previous school. We will not accept students who have been expelled or have had any legal, disciplinary, or truancy problems with their previous school. Cumulative records will be reviewed for any problems.
Accreditation is a system of standard established by an organization to, supposedly, guarantee uniformity and quality coursework. NCCS has chosen not to be accredited by any organization because it would require uniform curriculum based on another organization's standards. Parents should be aware that If your student transfers into a public high school from a non-accredited school their credits may be questioned, and in extreme cases, a denial of all credits earned while homeschooling. NCCS, to this date, has not had any problems with students transferring into a public high school or another private school.
